This past weekend, the walleye bite was good Northwest of Kellys and around American Eagle Shoal. Bottom bouncing, trolling bandits or trolling harnesses with worms, were the methods most effective. Saturday through Monday, there was a decent bite by D Can on the east end of the firing range. Tuesday, Wednesday and today, very strong NE, then East and now South wind today. All super strong winds. Again, there are fish just about everywhere but Mother Nature is surely mad at someone, because you can only get out every now and then. This coming Saturday looks good, as of right now. If you have a chance, go that day. You can still jig fish and run bottom bouncers if there's a good drift. or you can troll cranks or harnesses.
Haven't heard much on perch yet. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to get any softcraws yet. All this lousy weather has wreaked havoc on that too. We will have them as soon as they are available.
We have added another item to our "HOT SALE"- TX 22 Church Boards. Regularly priced at $36.95, now $25.95! Stay tuned! More "Hot Sales" added each week!
